The outstanding duo of Dublin natives Andy O’Driscoll and Martin Doyle, collectively known as Stephen’s Green, have performed at many festivals, fairs and concerts throughout the US and Europe, bringing their unique talents to a wide audience of enthusiasts

Early in his career, balladeer Andy O’Driscoll won many awards in SCOR, a national talent competition in Ireland, competing in solo singing and ballad group. The legendary Paddy Reilly described O’Driscoll as the "best singer to come out of Ireland in many years." In the sleeve notes of O’Driscoll’s first album, Where the Grasses Grow the Greenest, Paddy expressed his hope that Andy will "carry the flag long after he puts his feet up."

Master musician Martin Doyle exhibited huge potential at an early age, winning the National Championship and the All Ireland championship for classical accordion. He went on to represent Ireland in the World Accordion Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. He is also an exceptionally talented traditional musician, having composed many original tunes, some of which are featured on Stephen’s Green’s highly-acclaimed studio recording Harbour Lights.

The recently-released live cd, Stephen’s Green: In Concert provides a perfect opportunity to experience their outstanding vocal and musical abilities as well as their engaging and humorous interaction with their audience.

Having performed at many Irish events over the years, Stephen’s Green have shared the stage with such greats as The Wolfe Tones, Dublin City Ramblers, Paddy Reilly, Tommy Makem, Tommy Sweeney, George Casey, Liam Clancy, Hal Roach, Finbar Furey, Danny Doyle, the Whole Shebang, and many more. Due to their immense popularity, Andy and Martin have become a fixture on the Cruise of Irish Stars for the last ten years. During these years, they have performed with outstanding artists such as Ronan Tynan, Noel V. Ginnity, Johnny McEvoy, Dermot O’Brien, Tony Kenny, Cathy and Andreas Durkin, Deirdre Reilly, Pat and Fran Marnane, and The New Barleycorn, to mention but a few.

Another highlight in the extensive Stephen’s Green calendar is their annual tour to Ireland. For the last several years, Martin and Andy have escorted many of their fans on laid back, fun-filled musical tours back to the old sod. Over time, these adventures have led to numerous pints of the black stuff and been the foundation for many great and lasting friendships.
